Dalseong park is the oldest park in Daegu. ‘Dalseong’ (Designated as historic area No 62), an earth-made fortress by the ancient Dalgubeol tribal state of the Daegu area, was built in the earliest period of Korea’s fortress development. The name of ‘Dalseong Park’ originated from this earthen fortress.

The park is located in the center of the city, so it is easily accessible. It is composed of historical sites and a zoo, which are used to educate children and youths. Old rare trees as well as common trees are planted here.

A large grass field (26,446㎡ in size) provides a fresh atmosphere and a nice view.
